Amanda Sayaseng, BS
I received my B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley in 2024. Over the summer of 2022, I worked as a research intern in a physical chemistry lab at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory under Dr. Musahid Ahmed, where I studied the nucleation of metal organic frameworks. While at UC Berkeley, I participated in undergraduate research at UCSF, using neural networks to track zebrafish movement to learn how the brain controls important functions. During the summer of 2024, I interned at a startup working with large language models to enhance software development processes.
I am excited to be working back on my home side of the bay, learning about how neuromodulation can be used to improve the lives of patients with neurological disorders. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the California coast, making aesthetic matcha drinks, and chasing colorful sunsets.
