Movement Disorders & DBS Therapy

Using temporarily-placed cortical electrodes and implanted DBS electrodes, we perform intraoperative recording of cortical and basal ganglia local field potentials. We seek to find specific network oscillation patterns associated with specific motor phenomenology in movement disorders, and explore the effects of DBS on these oscillatory patterns.
