Jacob Marks, BA

Clinical Research Coordinator

I received my B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2023. While at Berkeley, I participated in undergraduate research with Dr. Dennis Levi, investigating how fixational eye movements impact amblyopic spatial vision. Over the summer of 2022, I worked as a research intern in the Neurophysiology of Epilepsy Unit of the National Institutes of Health in Washington, DC. At the NIH, under Dr. Sara Inati, I designed a research project on the use of graph theory and intracranial EEG data to localize the seizure epicenter in patients with focal, drug-resistant epilepsy.

I am very excited to have moved across the bay to work in the Wang Lab and am grateful for the opportunity to pursue my interests in neurological disorders and their novel treatments! Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, cooking with friends, and cheering on my hometown Los Angeles Dodgers.
